For any photographer who is passionate about experiencing some of the world's ancient traditions and culture, I wholeheartedly recommend the annual Morobe Agricultural Show and Exhibition, held at Lae, Papua New Guinea. More than 60 tribes from all over Papua New Guinea unite in traditional dress to perform age old 'Sing Sings' (dances) at the Lae Showgrounds. It is a effervescent display and vision of colour, culture and national pride.
Organised annually by the Lae Morobe Agricultural Show committee, it is a 'must see' for intrepid travellers and fellow photography 'nuts' like me!
Camera: Canon 60d and Canon 5DMiii Canon Lens: EF 70-200mm L F2.8 and EF 24-105mm L F4 and large SD cards!
