One of the special things about photography is how it opens your eyes to a whole new world around us. By combining my passions of nature and photography, using a macro lens has introduced me to a whole new level of patience and shoulder strength!

Wow, how interesting these little critters can be when looking through a lens. I had no idea that spiders could be so cute. I have now learnt that spiders have eight eyes as well as eight legs!  Macro photography is indeed an incredible skill and challenge. I have a new found respect on all the intricacies involved in 'winning' that perfect shot. 'Hats off' to the professional photographers that specialise in the world of macro.
