I travel a lot of work, my schedule is hectic with back-to-back meetings and training from dawn to dusk, by the end of the week I am looking for an escape, many go shopping, however my ideal escape is getting as close to nature as possible.

For me, Taronga and Melbourne Zoos are the perfect escape. Ideally located close to the city,it is an easy way to keep me entertained for hours and recharge my batteries. Photography is my passion, so a day spent improving my skills to capture the often hidden personalities of these incredible creatures for all to enjoy is what fuels my soul. For less than $40, that is my idea of time and money well spent. A tip for regular Australian Zoo visitors, check out the annual passes for under $100 for access to participating zoos Australia wide - a wonderful gift that keeps on giving.
